BURKS General Purpose Centrifugal
Pumps are designed for use in commerical and general industrial applications.
Their efficient hydraulic design and long-life service make these pumps
ideal for hot or cold water circulation, pressure boosting and liquid
transfer. Available in both close coupled and frame mounted designs, the
pumps are constructed of Bronze Fitted Iron. All Iron, or All bronze.
Close coupled units can be supplied with both single or three phase motors
in a variety of motor enclosures including open drip proof, totally enclosed,
and explosion proof. Contact a Water Cooling Engineer for information
and pricing on optional materials of construction and other motors not
listed in the standard specification table shown below. |

• Standard Self-Adjusting Carbon/Ceramic Shaft Seals
— Handles fluids at temperatures to 225oF and pressures to 200
PSIG with long, trouble-free service
• Optional Jacketed Seal Cavity — Allows pumping
hot fluids up to 500oF

• Enclosed Bronze Impeller
— Provides maximum hydraulic efficiency
• Back Pull-Out Design — Allows servicing without
disturbing piping
• Replaceable casing wear ring — Prevents wear on
pumps casing and lower maintenance costs
